An expression of gratitude to our volunteers!
We owe a lot to people who give their time, skills and talents to help us meet our goals of service, education and community building. Sunday, February 26th was chosen to express our gratitude to those people who had contributed to the success of WFWP-Canada in 2022.
In the morning certificates of appreciation were given to 10 individuals who had made significant contributions. They were Edmond Young for his photography, Ryan Abenir for the Zoom and technical assistance, Koshin Young, Technical assistance and design. Irene Paghubasan, Sasha Tarasova and Angela Fontaine for their participation in many events and flyers design. Ruslana Makarova and Tsagan Amteeva were specially helpful when we dealt with our Support Ukraine Project and distributed personal care and bedding items to hundreds of Ukrainians families, women and children.
We all gathered at the bowling alley and enjoyed each other’s company and the challenge of the ball and pins. Blandine Stringer from Ottawa joined us for the afternoon and we made great memories.
