Welcome

Hello from Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Canada!

At WFWP, we believe that women are key to building a peaceful and harmonious world. Since our founding in 1992 in the Republic of Korea, we have grown into a dynamic global network spanning over 100 countries. United by our commitment to empowering women and promoting peace, we work to create meaningful change in communities worldwide.

Through grassroot initiatives and high-level events, we strive to address the unique challenges women face in different regions. We are honoured to hold General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, a recognition of our dedication to advancing women's leadership in peacebuilding and sustainable development.

We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our programs, events, and ways to get involved. Together, let’s create a world where women's voices are heard, their contributions are valued, and peace is possible.

Join us on this journey toward a more peaceful and equitable future for all!

About Us

The Women's Federation for World Peace International (WFWPI) was founded in April 1992 by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon with a mission to eradicate poverty through global service projects. These initiatives focus on education, women's self-sufficiency, agriculture, AIDS prevention, nutrition, and medical aid.

WFWP Canada, also established in 1992, is a proud chapter of WFWPI. As a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization, we welcome all individuals, regardless of race, nationality, religion or gender. Our three regional chapters—Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto—work to empower women and families through education and healing, fostering reconciliation across racial, religious, and cultural divides.

WFWP Canada is supported through its membership program and generous donations from sponsors who share our vision. Together, we are committed to building a more peaceful and inclusive society.
