RETREAT 2015 Report
Eleven sisters from Toronto, Hamilton, London, Cobourg, Ottawa and New Jersey gathered at the First Canada Inns in Kingston, Ontario on Saturday, September 26th for a day and a half gathering.
Saturday, September 26th
The day began with a meditation led by our member, Angela.
Our national president, Lilly shared with the group the PowerPoint presentation: Significance of Our Founder, As a Woman.
Our Hamilton Chapter Chair, Eveline then presented her work in Hamilton with Love IQ based on Richard Panzer’s program; Eveline’s presentation initiated a lively discussion among all the participants.
It was time for lunch. As always when we share Potluck there was food galore, enough to feed a group twice the size of our gathering.
The afternoon began with Jeanne Carroll’s sharing her moving testimony of her discovery of Feminine Aspects of the Divine.
After the celebration of four birthdays with a sweet chocolate cake, we filled two cars and went downtown in search for the Molly Brant’s memorial
On Sunday all the participants disscussed ways in which they hoped to see WFWP advance in the coming year.
WFWP is a volunteer group. Every member is giving their best to help create a better organization that can effect positive change in our communities.
